1. Anchor Text Usage — Strict Control
- No hyperlink on exact-match keywords.
- Use only:
- Branded Anchors — Your brand name (e.g., "GeniusFirms").
- Naked URLs — Plain URLs (e.g., "www.geniusfirms.com")./li>

sparingly).
- No repetitive use of the same anchor text pattern.
2. Backlink Destination Rules
- Do not backlinks to homepage or service pages.
- Prefer links to blog or news articles, research articles, or relevant informational pages.
3. Source Trustworthiness & E-E-A-T
- Only allow information sourced from:
- Sites with 80+ Domain Rating (DR) or proven authority.
- Recognized industry publications, research sites, or reputed blogs.
- Avoid using generic, low-authority, or affiliate sites as references.
- Encourage adding external authoritative references where relevant.
4. Content Quality & Non-Promotional Tone
- Content must be informational, helpful, and relevant to readers.
- Must avoid promotional tone, sales pitches, or keyword stuffing.
- Review for originality, factual correctness, and readability.
5. Outbound Link Review
- Remove low-quality or irrelevant backlinks.
- Check for: Spammy sites, Affiliate links, Link networks or irrelevant outbound links.
6. Originality & Plagiarism Check
- Mandatory plagiarism check before approval.
- Content must have at least 90% uniqueness with no copied sections.
7. Author Credibility
- Ensure the guest author provides:
- Real name, bio, and social profile link (LinkedIn preferred).
- No anonymous submissions allowed.
8. Editorial Review & Formatting
- Review for grammar, spelling, and proper formatting (headings, bullet points, short paragraphs).
- Ensure content fits your site’s voice and quality standards.
9. Link Attribute Compliance
- Use rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored" on all outbound
promotional links.
- Only genuine editorial links can be do-follow (and only if relevant).
10. No Mass Posting or Irrelevant Topics
- Reject content not aligned with your niche or target audience.
- Avoid accepting multiple posts from the same contributor in a short span.
11. Image Licensing & Attribution
- Ensure all images are original, royalty-free, or properly licensed.
- Avoid using Google Images or copyrighted media.
- Require image source or attribution if applicable.
12. Internal Linking to Your Own Content
- Encourage 1–2 internal links to relevant blog posts or resource pages on your
site.
- Helps with on-site SEO and shows editorial intent.
13. Don’t Index Contributor Pages with Thin Content
- Avoid indexing author/contributor pages that don’t add value.
- Use noindex if the author bio page is empty or just backlink-driven.
