I’ve been playing around with SpicyChat on my laptop late at night mostly for story‑style roleplay, and when it works, the characters are insanely immersive and remember details way better than I expected.

I was excited at first; picking out fun avatars and trying to craft some storylines was pretty cool in the beginning. But half the time the AI would forget what we were talking about, repeat itself, or suddenly stop responding mid‑message, which drove me nuts. And the “free” access often stuck me in a queue for minutes before I could continue a conversation not exactly seamless when you just want to relax and chat.

After a few interactions, the AI responses often feel repetitive and lack depth. the long wait times and inconsistent bot memory make it frustrating to use. Additionally, navigating through available bots is tedious, as the list resets every time you select one. It's not worth the subscription.
