My biggest issue with Yardi is that it feels overly complicated for normal daily tasks. Simple things often take more clicks than they should, and small changes can send you into confusing menus or workflows. I understand that it is powerful software, but power does not always mean easy. I had to ask for help several times just to complete tasks that should have been straightforward. For a smaller team or someone who is not already experienced with property management systems, Yardi can feel heavy, slow, and frustrating.

I started using Yardi when our property operations became too messy to manage through separate spreadsheets and disconnected tools. Once I got used to the system, it made a noticeable difference. I could track leases, tenant details, accounting, work orders, and reports from one place instead of jumping between different files all day. The reporting side is especially useful because I can pull information faster when management asks for numbers.
